Sanofi (Sanofi-Aventis Groupe) is a French pharmaceutical group formed in 2004 by the merger of Sanofi-Synthélabo and Aventis. It also has its roots in the former Hoechst AG in Frankfurt am Main.
With sales of €37.8 billion in 2021 and more than 100,000 employees worldwide, Sanofi is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies in terms of sales.
